Zack Grienke Daily Fantasy Sports Opportunity Comes This Friday

With Zach Grienke riding a 43 2/3 innings scoreless streak Sunday, our sister site Gambling911.com decided to look ahead towards his next start on Friday and guess what they found?

The Dodgers starter holds a .214 ERA over the next team he faces, the New York Mets.  He’ll take on the Mets Friday, a team that has only hit 30 of 140 at bats against him with just four homeruns.

Greinke's string is the longest in the majors since Orel Hershiser set the major league record of 59 shutout innings in 1988 with the Dodgers.

It is interesting to note that last Tuesday night, Greinke started the All-Star Game and gave up a leadoff homer to Mike Trout.   All Star game performances, however, do not factor into the regular season stats.
