Our sister site, Gambling911.com, recently sat down with Oulala.com chief executive officer, Valery Bollier, to discuss the emerging daily and weekly fantasy sports industry in Europe.
Bollier’s company is based out of Malta, an island nation located in the Mediterranean that has long been a hot spot for online gambling firms. In fact, Bollier comes from the world of Web gambling.
Gambling911.com has your daily fantasy sports MLB picks and previews for May 11 along with the long range forecast.
Monday May 11
Series: Orioles vs. Blue Jays
Ubaldo Jimenez He’s 2-2 on the season thus far but only lasted four innings in Wednesday's loss to the Mets. Overall he has pitched especially well to start the season.
Early indications are that Brewers Matt Garza is going to get hammered by a Cubs team that has stood their ground against him in the past.
The current Cubs roster is batting .329 against Garza. The Milwaukee starter is 1-2 with a 5.82 ERA in three career starts against the Cubs.
And the primary culprit that should make daily fantasy players happy would be Miguel Montero, who has an impressive .400 ERA over the past seven days and is 7-for-17 against Garza.
Montero comes priced at $2800.

FanDuel.com, the world leader in daily fantasy sports, has published their DFS Baseball plays for the top two pitchers May 10.
Felix Hernandez is priced higher than any other starter today but does present the best potential, according to FanDuel.com.
This is due to his dominance over an Oakland team, a team that has only hit .222 off of Hernandez.
The Mariners starter is coming in at $11300 Sunday.
Danny Salazar comes in with a $7800 price tag.
Despite our sister site Gambling911.com being on the UNDER 9 in Sunday’s Red Sox vs. Blue Jays matchup, there are plenty of daily fantasy picks on our radar.
The pitching matchup consists of R.A Dickey vs. Clay Buchholz and both have had their problems with some of the opposing club’s top batters.
Xander Bogaerts is 7-for-14 against Dickey with 4 RBIs. He went 1-for-3 in his last appearance against Dickey.
Red Sox starting pitcher Clay Buchholz has been struggling of late and he’s not likely to get much of a breather against the likes of Toronto’s Ryan Goins.
The good news for Buchholz is that Goins hasn’t had any hits against Boston in this series thus far despite 7 at bats.
The bad news for Buchholz is that the Blue Jays leftie has gone 7-for-14 against him. That includes one double, one triple and four RBIs.
Goins is priced at $2300, a bargain perhaps under these circumstances. Still, one cannot overlook his poor play overall in the past 10 games.
Gambling911.com has your Braves vs. Nationals series daily fantasy sports picks for Saturday’s game.
PITCHING MATCHUP: Braves RH Julio Teheran (3-1, 3.82 ERA) vs. Nationals RH Doug Fister (2-1, 2.61)
Fister has permitted 4 or more hits in his five starts this season. Two of those games went over while another hit 7.
Fister has had difficulties against Kelly Johnson (3-for-6 at bats with 2 RBIs and a homerun). Alberto Callaspo is 7-for-19 against Fister but has struggled a bit of late.
We like Anibal Sanchez today but whether he can muster up enough quality points to help daily fantasy MLB players today we’re not entirely confident.
Priced at $8.6K you would have to consider him as a starter. The 31-year-old owns a 1.40 ERA in eight career starts against Kansas City and nobody on the current Royals roster with 4 at bats or more has gone over .286 against him.
For us here at DFS911.com, Brett Gardner presents a slightly better option than Jacoby Ellsbury going up against Wei-Yin Chen.
Like Ellsbury, Gardner is batting well of late and he’s also fared well against Chen going 5-for-15 with five RBIs, two doubles and a homerun.
Gardner is batting .357 so far this month. He’s 7-for-28 at bats with four doubles and a homer. He and Ellsbury combined for 3-for-7 in their 5-4 victory against the Orioles Friday night.
LAS VEGAS -- This desert city has long been the center of the sports betting universe, but now there's a new game in town.
Wagering on sports fantasy is fast becoming as popular as wagering on the games themselves, so it's no surprise that one of the top new sports fantasy sites on the Internet has decided to locate here, amidst the casino sportsbooks taking traditional wagers on sides, totals and futures.
Yankees centerfielder Jacoby Ellsbury makes for a decent roster pick Saturday versus Orioles starter Wei-Yin Chen though other variables must be considered before pulling the switch.
Ellsbury just hit 2-for-3 versus the Yankees his last game Friday and is batting an impressive .469 during the month of May.
Priced at around $4000, Ellsbury has hit 7-for-16 against Chen with one double.
DFS911.com has your Royals vs. Tigers series DFS picks for May 9 with a number of batters in which to choose from on Detroit’s roster going up against KC’s Jeremy Guthrie.
The Royals right-hander has been rocked by the likes of Miguel Cabrera, Nick Castellanos, Ian Kinsler and J.D. Martinez.
Cabrera went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's win over the Royals. (Sun May 3). He is batting .250 so far during the month of May.
He is 19-for-53 at bats vs. Guthrie with 4 homers and 14 RBIs.
White Sox first baseman Adam LaRoche should be considered for your daily fantasy roster Friday May 8. He’ll face off against one Jason Marquis of Cincinnati, a pitcher LaRoche has hit well against over his career.
Best Picks April 27 – Mike Moustakas, Jason Kipnis, Carlos Santana
Best Picks April 28 – Alcides Escobar, Mike Moustakas, Michael Brantley, Jason Kipnis, Brandon Moss, Ryan Rayburn
Best Picks April 29 – Eric Hosmer, Danny Salazar
April 27 - Indians starting pitcher Corey Kluber has not won in four starts though he only permitted 2 runs in each of his first three. He allowed 6 in his last start. That may have been the result of poor weather conditions however.
