Gambling911.com has your Baltimore Ravens Daily Fantasy Football picks for 2015 with early season pricing courtesy of StarFantasyLeagues.com and subject to change.
Victiv.com, an Austin, Texas-based Daily Fantasy Sports site considered among the mid-tier brands, has officially rebranded Thursday as StarsDraft.com.
The world’s biggest Daily Fantasy Sports site, FanDuel, is expanding its office space in Manhattan by 32.000 feet.
The Carolina Panthers starting quarterback Cam Newton Daily Fantasy NFL salary had him priced at $7.6K. Newton has consistently averaged better than 24 fantasy points per season though that average has dropped slightly each season since his rookie year.
The Kansas City Royals are hot and so too is Tuesday’s starting pitcher Johnny Cueto, who owns an amazing .128 ERA versus the Detroit Tigers. He is an absolute must to be on your Daily Fantasy roster this day.
Davante Adams Daily Fantasy NFL salary was listed at $4.4K entering this 2015 season. This is some terrific value with Jordy Nelson out for the season and Adams expected to take up much of the slack.
The Packers organization plan to utilize Adams more in Nelson’s place as starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers has given the wide receiver tremendous props in recent days.
Both Josh McCrown and Johnny Manziel are priced around $5K at Daily Fantasy NFL sites like Star Fantasy Leagues.
For the first time ever a Daily Fantasy Sports site, in this case FanDuel.com, has begun to advertise on 24-hour cable news network CNN.
FanDuel and its rival DraftKings have marketed heavily on ESPN and the major networks during sporting events such as NFL Sunday.
The FanDuel ads began airing on CNN this week. Details of the advertising deal were not immediately known.
FanDuel recently raised $275 million in fresh investment money this month and planned to use a significant amount of those funds for marketing purposes.
Following news on our sister site that DraftKings.com had entered into a promotional deal with Playboy poker pro Dan Bilzerian, we can now report that the popular Daily Fantasy Sports site has just partnered with openly gay poker pro Jason Somerville.
Details of the deal, first reported on Legal Sports Report, were not immediately available.
With an ERA of .167 versus the current Tigers batters, LA Angels Hector Santiago is a “must have” as your Daily Fantasy starting pitcher, or at least have him as the second fiddle.
Santiago has allowed a mere 13 hits (one a homerun) off of 78 at bats.
The Tigers have a record of 7-7 on the year with a 2.91 ERA.
Baltimore’s Ubaldo Jimenez will start for the Baltimore Orioles on Monday and has been on an absolute tear against the opposing Royals batters.
With a total of 192 at bats, Jimenez has only permitted 41 hits, five of those being homers.
Jimenez looks to last more than five innings as he vies for his second straight road win and should get that chance here. He has not lasted that long in his last two starts. Jimenez is 4-4 with a 4.21 ERA in 11 career starts against Kansas City. The Orioles are a +110 dog for all you bettors out there.
Owned by some 25% of Fantasy Sports aficionados, the Green Bay Packers Jordy Nelson has sustained an injury in preseason play against the Pittsburgh Steelers that the Packers organization confirmed late Monday will result in Nelson being out the entire season.
Season long Fantasy owners cringed late Sunday afternoon as results of an MRI were forthcoming and now the grim news has been confirmed.
Nelson’s fantasy numbers in 2014 were superior as he was targeted 277 times while catching 183 passes for 2,833 yards and finding the end-zone 21 times.
Their Twitter feed has remained dormant throughout much of the month of August despite the new NFL season being just around the corner. Draftster appears to be on its final legs unless of course some fresh investment money comes trickling in.
The company does have one thing going for it in that they do white label their software. Getting other sites to license it is a different story.
One of the players we here at DFS911.com suggest having on your Daily Fantasy Sports MLB roster today would be Austin Jackson.
The Mariners centerfielder has managed to hit 21 for 49 off of opposing White Sox starting pitcher John Danks over his career. Six of those were extra base hits while three were homeruns.
Jackson has played well of late, hitting in eight of ten most recent games. Six of those he has had at least two hits.
He’s coming in just under $4000 so the value is just barely there when comparing pricing.
You will want to be all over the Angels Garrett Richards Sunday as he faces off against a Blue Jays squad he has only allowed to hit 12 in 69 at bats. Only one of those was a homer.
Sure he’s pricey around $9000 but Richards should prove to be an absolute stud today.
Richards comes into this game with a 12-9 record and a 3.50 ERA. He has pitched better than 6 innings in most games, allowing no more than four runs in any of this last ten starts. Seven of those games her permitted fewer than four runs.
Dan Haren is a top pick for Saturday’s pitching roster. The Cubs starter has allowed only 24 hits off of 117 at bats with a mere two homeruns over that period.
You will be able to get Haren at a decent price as he’s 8-8 on the season with an ERA of 3.62.
Haren allowed three runs (all courtesy of a homer) on seven hits in just 4.2 innings against the White Sox. Otherwise, he limited the White Sox to one extra-base hit whithout walking a batter.
Haren has failed to go deeper than 5.1 innings since joining the Cubs. That is likely to change here against Atlanta.
It’s not just that Houston Astros Jose Altuve has been hot against the Dodgers Zach Grienke (he’s 6 for 12 at bats), the second baseman has also been hot in recent games.
Altuve has hit in eight of his last ten, but even better he’s had at least two hits in six of those games.
Through 111 games this season, Altuve is hitting .303/.347/.409 with nine home runs, 50 RBI and 31 stolen bases over 455 at-bats. He ranks number one in the AL with 31 steals.
Grienke has had a tough time against the Astros roster, allowing 26 hits off of 78 at bats with 9 RBIs.
The Chicago Cubs starting pitcher for Thursday night, Jake Arrieta, is a sick .185 versus the current Atlanta Braves roster.
He has allowed just 12 hits off of 65 at bats, two of those homeruns. This one is expected to be so lopsided that Chicago is better than a -300 home favorite at most online sportsbooks.
Arrieta has posted a 1.35 ERA and held opponents to a .166 batting average during his string of 11 straight quality starts, which started on June 21.

Cleveland’s Josh Tomlin enjoys a .188 ERA versus the New York Yankees starting batters. This has translated into 13 hits on 69 at bats with a mere two homeruns over this time period.
Granted we thought DFS911.com had a great play with Toronto’s Mark Buehrle yesterday with a line of well over -200 in Philadelphia but he let us down big time. Today, we are feeling optimistic about Tomlin.
While Tomlin lost his first start of the season the other night against Minnesota, he did permit only two runs off of five hits in 6.5 innings of play.
One of the largest Daily Fantasy Sports companies, FanDuel, has acquired sports analytics firm numberFire. This comes just weeks after securing $275 million in a Series E round.
“Our ambitions have really broadened,” FanDuel CEO Nigel Eccles said in an interview with TechCrunch. “We’ve started to think of ourselves less as a fantasy sports business — we want to make sports more exciting.”
Eccles intends to integrate numberFire into FanDuel’s fantasy sports product.
The Toronto Blue Jays Mark Buehrle is a top Daily Fantasy Baseball pitcher for today, especially considering how hot the Jays have been of late.
Buehrle has been even hotter historically against the opposing Phillies batters, allowing just 12 hits off of 63 at bats. Just a single homerun has been permitted over that time period.
Buehrle has not lost since July 6 and posted his third straight quality start last time out, holding Oakland to two runs and seven hits in seven innings to earn the win.
Want a great starting pitcher for Tuesday’s Daily Fantasy Baseball roster? Look no further than Detroit’s Anibal Sanchez who has allowed just 17 hits off of 86 at bats versus the current Cubs batters. Only two of those were homeruns.
With Detroit imploding, one can get Sanchez cheap while bettors can find the Tigers priced at +141.
BOSTON - DraftKings, Inc., a leading skill-based daily fantasy sports destination, today announced the company has been granted a license to operate in the United Kingdom and will open its third office, in London, by the end of 2015. DraftKings expects to be operational in the UK in the fourth quarter, with launches in additional markets, including Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America, planned for 2016.
DFS911.com has two very solid pitcher choices for your Monday Daily Fantasy Sports roster. That would be Baltimore’s Chris Tillman and Houston’s Scott Kazmir.
Tillman has allowed a mere 13 hits off of 75 at bats versus Oakland current batters. Kazmie has permitted 13 hits off of 68. Between both starting pitchers with 143 at bats only five homeruns have been allowed.
Detroit’s Justin Verlander will be on the road Saturday against a Houston team he maintains a .145 ERA against. That’s 9 hits permitted in 62 at bats. Only one of those was a homerun.
For gamblers we have a situation where Detroit is a +136 underdog. The total for this game was set at 8.
Verlander is just 1-5 on the season so you’ll get him for a great price.
