Daily Fantasy NFL Week 8 Tight Ends to Target

DFS911.com has your Daily Fantasy NFL Week 8 tight ends you will want to target along with the salaries offered on each.

Travis Kelce ($5K) – This seems like a no-brainer.  Kelce secured 5-of-6 targets for 73 yards in the Chiefs’ Week 7 win over the Steelers.  He is always going to be considered a fantasy TE1 but more so this week than most others.

That’s because the Lions had allowed four touchdowns to tight ends so far this year coming into Week 6.

Jason Witten ($5.2K) – Though Seattle is thought of as a strong defensive-minded team, they are exploitable against opposing tight ends and Jason Witten is among the best out there.

Whitten caught 6-of-8 targets for 73 yards in the Cowboys’ Week 7 loss to the Giants.  That was a season high for him.  We could see him go even higher against this Seahawks squad.

Delanie Walker  ($4.1K) He caught 7-of-9 targets for 55 yards in Tennessee’s Week 7 loss to the Falcons.  Walker is considered a mid-range TE1 and should be able to make value against Houston if either price above is a concern and you happen to be looking for another option.

Martellus Bennett ($4.9K) – If for whatever reason you are not feeling either Kelce or Witten, Bennett comes priced around the same vs. a Vikings team that we believe is less inclined to give up fantasy points than either Seattle or Detroit.

Still, he’s someone to look at.

Bennett caught 6-of-11 targets for 59 yards Week 6 against the Lions.  He suffered a drop and had a touchdown pass knocked away.  This was not considered one of his better games despite playing one of the worst teams in the league defending against opposing tight ends.
