Atlanta Braves
Seven of the last ten games Atlanta has played in have gone OVER the total with the Braves scoring at least four runs in seven of their last eight games coming into Wednesday’s play.
Juan Uribe – He hit 3-for-4 Tuesday night against the Red Sox, though he didn’t record any RBIs. Uribe did hit one double and is priced at just $2700.
Pedro Ciriaco – Had one RBI on 2-for-4 hitting.
Freddie Freeman – With his .303 ERA on the season, Freeman has been solid for the Braves so far in 2015. He went 2-for-6 last Saturday with two RBI and his 12th home run of the season. AVOID: Friday
Arizona Diamondbacks
While winning half of their last games coming into Wednesday, the Diamondbacks have also gone five games without scoring more than 3 runs over that stretch. Arizona has excited us in the past, but not this week. Cliff Pennington and Aaron Hill, in particular, have struggled against more than one of the scheduled opposing starting pitchers. The one bright spot, Paul Goldschmidt, comes with a price.
Paul Goldschmidt – As one might expect, he’s going to cost you at $5900. He went 3-for-4 with a walk and a three-run home run, powering the Diamondbacks past the Angels on Monday. You will want to consider him for your roster on Saturday with Goldschmidt 6-for-17 against Tyson Ross. HOT: Saturday
Baltimore Orioles
This team just scored 19 runs on 17 hits against Philadelphia. That is nuts.
Ryan Flaherty – Had three runs on four hits. His ERA is climbing as a result to .253 and he’s priced at just $2200.
Manny Machado – He contributed 3 hits and 3 runs in 4 at bats Tuesday night. He also had two homeruns. Machado currently sits with a .290 ERA.
Travis Snider – The left-fielder was 2-for-3 at bats. Snider is 5-for-11 against Mark Buerhrle of the Blue Jays. He is just 1-for-12 at bats against Toronto’s Marco Estrada however. HOT: Saturday – AVOID: Friday
Chris Parmelee – First baseman Chris Parmelee has a .667 ERA on the season to date and went 4-for-6 Tueday with two homers.
JJ Hardy – His .234 ERA is deceptive as Hardy had hit in nine straight games coming into this bloodbath where he contributed 3 hits off of 4 at bats along with 2 runs. He has struggled mightily against Mark Buerhrle. AVOID: Saturday
Boston Red Sox
The Sox had 18 hits on Tuesday. You will want to monitor Boston carefully over the next couple of days. A number of players have excellent value.
Brock Holt – Had just over a .300 ERA coming into Wednesday. He went an impressive 4-for-5 Tuesday with two runs scored. He also scored a homer. Holt has excellent Daily Fantasy value priced at $2700.
Xander Bogaerts – He went 2-for-4 on Tuesday and was coming into Wednesday’s game priced at just $2600.
Mookie Betts – Centerfielder Mookie Betts went 3-for-5 with two runs Tuesday. You can bet Betts at $2800
Pablo Sandoval – 2-for-4 Tuesday. Have him on your roster Saturday as he is 6-for-13 against Edinson Volquez with three doubles. HOT: Saturday
