Jeff Francoeur was 2-for-4 with four RBIs thanks to a homer on Saturday for Philadelphia. He was 1-for-1 on Sunday. He’s hit in six of his last ten, four of which included at least two hits. Francoeur is 3-for-9 with an RBI against Leake.
Maikel Franco – Was 2-for-4 hitting Sunday. He hit in his last six coming into Monday’s game following a little slump. Franco went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Wednesday’s win over the Reds. He is 1-for-3 against Leake.
Ryan Howard – Was 2-for-4 hitting on Sunday for the Phillies. He is 6-for-18 against Leake with two homeruns.
Andrew McCutchen – The Pirates batter’s march toward a .300 batting average continues, as he’s now slashing .295/.382/.497. McCutchen’s strikeout rate of 13.6 percent is the lowest of his career, while his BABIP of .313 remains nearly 20 points below his career mark. He has hit in eight of his last ten games including 2-for-5 with an RBI double Friday in Atlanta.
Josh Harrison – He went 3-for-4 Saturday with one double and a run. Harrison has hit in 7 of his last 10 games.
Gregory Polanco – Pittsburgh’s Polanco was hot the other night, going 3-for-4 against Atlanta. Polanco is just 5-for-28 against left-handed pitching this year. Nelson is a righty.
Ryan Braun – He has gone 6-for-17 against Burnett but with just one RBI.
Shelby Miller – He is a decent starter today to consider for your Daily Fantasy Sports roster. Miller is priced around $9100.
Something tells us Atlanta is going to light it up today.
Freddie Freeman has been sensational against Kennedy, going 6-for-10 at bats with two doubles and eight RBIs. He hit in all nine of his games prior to Sunday’s game in which he failed to do so.
Cameron Maybin – He has been on absolute fire of late, hitting in eight of his last ten but, even more impressive, hitting three times in three of his last four outings. He’s priced at just $3100 and is an absolute “must have” for your roster.
Christian Bethancourt – The Braves catcher went 3-for-4 Saturday but has only hit in half of his last ten games. He’s a very last option having never faced Kennedy.
Alex Rios – The KC outfielder is 13-for-27 against Phil Hughes with five RBIs.
