Does This Daily Fantasy Sports Site Have Money Behind It: SidePrize

DFS911.com newest feature will look at the funding and Angel investing for various Daily Fantasy Sports sites and here we look at SidePrize.

As you may have read on our sister site Gambling911.com, another Daily Fantasy Sports, ScoreStreak, shut down last week due to lack of funding.

SidePrize calls itself the “PayPal for Fantasy Sports”, alluding to the popular online payment system.

SidePrize sits somewhere between traditional fantasy and daily fantasy sports.  They partner with platforms and leagues to provide additional game types, real-money contests and payments.

The concept allows friends to bet on their own matchups and more. The site removes the friction on an existing behavior currently done via text, email or phone calls, and most importantly, removes the burden of collection from the winners.

How it works:

Sign-in with your fantasy league platform, and SidePrize will automatically start tracking your games.  Add funds to your SidePrize account so you’ll have money to challenge people in your leagues. Challenge anyone in your league. Just select an opponent, set a prize amount and hit send.  SidePrize will distribute the money to the winner directly following the match. Withdraw at any time.

Based out of Atlanta, Georgia, SidePrize.com has not yet secured Angel investors.  This site is very active on social media as of June 3, 2015.

Always notify us here if you are associated with the above company and wish to update this information
