Victiv.com, an Austin, Texas-based Daily Fantasy Sports site considered among the mid-tier brands, has officially rebranded Thursday as StarsDraft.com.
The company was acquired by online poker behemoth PokerStars parent company, publicly traded Amaya Gaming.
StarsDraft.com marks PokerStars re-entry into the U.S. market, albeit minus the poker element. Stars was forced to exit the space in April of 2011 following a series of indictments.
A mailer went out to all Victiv.com customers on Thursday evening:
We are excited to announce that Victiv has partnered with Amaya and the PokerStars brand to bring you the new StarsDraft.com.
We look forward to continuing to offer the same high standard of customer support, player engagement, and product innovation under our new brand.
All of your user details, balances, bonuses, and account information will remain the same. Click login below to experience the new StarsDraft.com!
PokerStars entry into the Daily Fantasy Sports sector by default makes StarsDraft.com a formidable rival to both industry giants DraftKings and FanDuel.
