White Sox-Twins Wednesday Night Game DFS Picks

by | Jun 28, 2016 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

The OVER in this series is 14-6-1 in the last 21 played in Chicago and oddsmakers had the total set at 9.5, perhaps with good reason.

White Sox probable starter James Shields has permitted 45 hits off of 137 at bats versus the current Twins roster, including 15 extra base hits and 5 home runs.

Minnesota’s Ricky Nolasco has allowed 40 hits on 107 at bats versus the current White Sox roster.

The last four games Nolasco has pitched in have resulted in 10 or more runs.  Nine of the last ten have resulted in 9 or more runs.

Shields (2-9 with a 6.22 ERA on the season) has pitched in four games for the White Sox after being acquired by San Diego.  No fewer than 15 runs have been scored in any of those four games.

So which batters should you target on Wednesday?

The Twins Brian Dozier has averaged .400 over the past seven days and is 8-for-22 against Shields with eight RBIs and two homers.

Eduardo Nunez is 10-for-23 against Shields with two home runs.

Danny Santana has hit two of three against Shields.

Joe Mauer is 15-for-43 against Shields.

The White Sox Melky Cabrera is averaging .427 hitting and is 11 for 25 against Nolasco.

Brett Lawrie has hit five of ten at bats against Nolasco.
